Big Brothers new yoyo: The Pixel!

datePosted on 00:59, December 27th, 2011 by Zammy

Doug, the owner of Big Brothers has been off the radar for quite sometime due to his life being busy with his new job, new location and other unknown things. So with that said, he has been unable to design or develop any new throws. He made one particular throw but it was for a party for his new job, well after that time he has decided to get back around to making yoyos and this is his new throw: The Pixel.

He wanted to make an unusal throw as well as a particularly wide big brother yoyo and this definitely fits the scheme of his vision! Here is the stats:

• Diameter: 50 mm
• Width: 46.5 mm
• Weight: ~66 grams
• Bearing: Steel C-Sized Bearing
• Response: Flowable Silicone

“Walls Come Down” By Yoyoskills featuring Gentry Stein of Yoyofactory

Gentry Stein and Yoyoskills very own Chris Allen team up to debut Gentry’s “new style” of play compared to his previous years. This is a really great video- great tricks, nice cuts in the edit, great music..it has it all. Definitely top 20 for one of the best videos out of the year.

“Lofticries” by Adam Demarchi

datePosted on 04:48, December 20th, 2011 by Zammy

This is Adam Demarchi, a fellow Midwest yoyoer that has been out of the scene for awhile. I kept telling him to come back and make a video and look! He finally got around to it, about time! And boy, does he deliver! He shows us you do not need fancy locations to make a good video happen. Seriously amazing.

“Frost Hands” and “Precursor” By Ibs of Yoyofactory

datePosted on 04:26, December 20th, 2011 by Zammy

Ibs is one extremely talented yoyoer and has been making his sucess thanks to switching from Onedrop to Yoyofactory this past September. Seen here is some shorties by Ibs. Raw fosho’.

Here is one of my favorite yoyoers out there today: Michael Montgomery. He was the creator of the Yoyo company known as Double Take Industries but recently he has decided to shut that down and to remake it in the future. Anyways, these two videos are pretty dope. First one is just some ideas he wanted to throw into a video. The next one is a video on suicide variations. The behind the back catch is by far the most impressive. He does it clean!

Kate doing what she does best: Yoyoing. This is one beautiful video where the editing shines as does her personal style. A must see for everyone out there. I am rather speechless to this video and have seen it a number of times.

Russia really is stepping up the game.
